Healthy Minds at Home: A Community Discussion Supporting Youth & Family Wellbeing
Join us for a community-centered conversation designed to support youth and families navigating today’s complex mental health challenges. This program brings together a licensed mental health therapist and a social worker to provide insight, guidance, and practical tools for addressing concerns that many families face but may struggle to discuss openly.
Key discussion topics include college transition and mental health, reducing burnout, trauma and belonging, moving from self-care to collective care, anxiety and stress management, and suicide awareness. The conversation will emphasize early recognition of mental health concerns, compassionate communication within families, and connecting participants to trusted resources and support systems.
Through an engaging and informative discussion, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these challenges impact young people and family dynamics, while also learning strategies to foster resilience, emotional wellbeing, and supportive home environments. Healthy Minds at Home aims to reduce stigma, encourage open dialogue, and empower families with the knowledge and confidence to seek help and support one another.
