This complete garden design course combines weekly lectures with homework assignments. You will be asked to work through the design process using your own garden. At the end of the course you will have a complete, documented design plan that you can either implement yourself, or have a landscape contractor do it for you.The course will show you how to analyze your current property, prepare a site plan, and determine your requirements and design preferences. It will then help you understand design concepts which can be incorporated into your final garden plan. The course includes a workbook with assignments to make everything very hands on. During the 3 week course you will develop a garden design for your own property.
The course is focused on the design process and not on implementation. It does not teach you how to lay bricks, etc. No previous design experience is required.
Duration: 3 weeks, 1.5 - 2 hours per week (time for questions each night)
**The course will be Wednesday March 5, March 12 and March 19 **
Once you register for the first night you are registered for all 3 nights - no need to re-register.
It is highly recommended that you attend all 3 nights to get the most from this course.
Instructor: Robert Pavlis, author of Building Natural Ponds, Garden Myths and Soil Science for Gardeners and Owner of Aspen Grove Gardens.
