Households with children ages 4-18 can get healthy foods during the summer months through a new pilot program called Healthy Kids Iowa. Visit DMARC on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month to get additional help outside of regular food pantry hours. Food giveaways will be done as a drive thru service and you can recieve one food box per eligible child per month.
Who is Eligible:
Households at 185% or below Federal Poverty Level
Families with children ages 4-18
How to Get Food:
📍 DMARC-Ket Southside Food Pantry (100 Army Post Road, Des Moines)
📅 2nd & 4th Saturdays each month
⏰ 9am-12pm
Multiple other locations are available throughout Polk County! One food box per eligible child per month.
Volunteers needed to help assemble and distribute food orders!
