About this Event
We often picture environmental health as something “out there”, in polluted cities or distant ecosystems. But it begins much closer to home, in the air we breathe indoors, the temperature of our rooms, the light, damp, noise, and design of the spaces we live in.
In this session, Healthy Homes in a Changing Climate, we will explore how housing quality shapes physical and mental health, how climate change is intensifying everyday environmental risks and what a planetary health perspective means for designing homes that genuinely protect wellbeing.
- Hosted at the University of Gloucestershire City Campus- a new campus in the heart of Gloucester.
- There is an accessible entrance, a lift and toilet facilities
- The campus is open all day with a public library and computers, so if you are early, you don't have to be stuck outside !!
