About this Event
You are invited to our group for a time of learning and community with a discussion on how to bring more balance to eating habits, including when we are navigating eating around others. The holidays especially can be a time when things feel unbalanced in our diet or our efforts to eat healthier are challenged by social situations and family eating dynamics. You don't have to eat perfect, and you don't have to throw all your health goals out either. Learn methods to eat mindfully and enjoy balanced eating even during the holidays.
The group will be led by a registered dietitian nutritionist, providing sound guidance and facilitating group discussion. We will be using the 4 foundations of nourishing food habits to help guide our focus on balancing our food intake for long-lasting peace with food and freedom from dieting culture.
Afterwards, we will have an optional walk just 2 blocks over to the farmer’s market at Esther Short Park for a short tour around the market.
