Healthy Brain Summit 2026: Culturally Grounded Brain Health & Caregiver Support
Join So’ Tsoh Foundation and the Arizona Department of Health Services for our 2-day Healthy Brain Summit, a community-centered gathering focused on brain health, dementia awareness, and caregiver support.
This summit was created in response to the growing need for culturally relevant dementia education and brain health resources within our Native and rural communities. Many families are navigating memory loss, caregiving responsibilities, and aging without enough support — this event is designed to change that.
Over two days, participants will experience:
- Educational SessionsLearn about brain health, early signs of dementia, prevention strategies, and caregiving tools.
- Culturally Grounded Healing & WellnessEngage in practices that support emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
- Caregiver Support & ResourcesConnect with organizations, services, and community networks available to support you and your loved ones.
- Trusted Speakers & Knowledge HoldersHear from clinicians, caregivers, advocates, and traditional voices who bring both expertise and lived experience.
- Interactive Learning & Community DialogueParticipate in conversations that uplift, inform, and empower.

This day is ideal for community members, families, and caregivers who are beginning their journey or want a refresher in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Day 2: Advanced Learning & Deeper PracticeThe second day builds on foundational knowledge and moves into more advanced topics. Participants will explore deeper caregiving strategies, communication techniques, behavioral understanding, and leadership approaches to supporting both caregivers and those they care for. This day is especially valuable for experienced caregivers, professionals, and those seeking to strengthen their skills.
