Are you fed up of being half-there.
Physically with others, but mentally elsewhere.
Endless doom-scrolling can quietly drain our energy and steal our presence. It’s so easy to get pulled into bad news, comparison, outrage, or anxiety loops without even realising how much time has passed.
Constant notifications train the brain to expect interruption. Over time, that can make it harder to focus, read, listen, or even sit with a single thought without reaching for your phone. Most of us are guilty of it.
Our phones are designed to be addictive. That’s why developing a more conscious relationship with them really matters.
Seeing everyone else’s highlights can slowly chip away at self-esteem. Even when we know it’s curated, it still lands emotionally.
Late-night scrolling and blue light disrupt our sleep, leaving us tired, wired, and less resilient the next day.
And then there’s connection. Conversations can become shallower. Awkward silences get filled with scrolling instead of curiosity or reflection. Research suggests we miss out on deeper, more meaningful conversations because of it.
If you’re a parent, you might feel especially conflicted. Being on your phone while telling your child to get off screens. All while being bombarded with contradictory parenting advice online 😩
Work doesn’t help either. Emails, WhatsApp groups, constant updates. The boundaries blur and suddenly there’s no real “off” switch anymore.
We can’t stop the speed of technology. Living without a phone is unrealistic. But we can pause, reflect, and learn healthier digital habits.
In this workshop, we’ll take time out to hear ourselves again. To notice what’s there when we unplug. You’ll be guided through reflective journaling prompts to explore how your phone use is really affecting your energy, focus, sleep, relationships, and sense of self. And how to make gentle, conscious changes that actually feel doable.
Let’s stop losing time to a device.
Life is precious.
Let’s make screen use intentional.
