You are warmly invited to a series of full-day retreats in 2026, including the Healing Together Retreat on January 22 and the Deepening the Healing Retreat later in August.
This unique experience is offered at no charge to members of the community.
These retreats are designed to create a quiet, focused, and supportive space where community leaders can pause, reflect, and reconnect. Each retreat will be guided by experienced facilitators prepared by the Center for Courage and Renewal, founded by Parker Palmer, an organization dedicated to helping individuals and communities live and lead with greater integrity, compassion, and courage.
Together, we will explore paths of healing that support personal well-being, strengthen relationships, and deepen our capacity to be present with one another across differences, life experiences, and social challenges. The day will offer structured time for reflection, listening, and meaningful dialogue.
Participants will be guided in:
• engaging personal stories as a way to better understand themselves and others
• reflecting on sources of stress, division, and resilience in their own lives and communities
• cultivating inner resources for renewal and hope
• connecting with others to support healthier, more compassionate organizations and communities
We warmly encourage participants to commit to attending both retreats, as this shared journey helps build deeper relationships, greater trust, and a more meaningful and transformative experience for everyone involved.
