Healing Through Art: A Painting Workshop for WomenI am not an art therapist, but as a stroke and cancer survivor, I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful art can be in the healing process. Painting became my safe space—a quiet refuge where I could release fear, pain, and uncertainty. It became my form of worship and my way to connect with God. Through colors and brushstrokes, I found a way to express emotions I couldn’t always explain. It helped me rebuild my strength, and rediscover hope in moments when everything felt lost. Now, I want to share that journey with others—to show how creativity can become a form of healing, a light in the midst of darkness.
In this gentle, guided session, participants will explore painting as a form of emotional release and self-discovery. No prior art experience is needed — just an open heart and the willingness to connect with God and let color and movement tell your story. Through brushstrokes and texture, each woman will be encouraged to express her emotions, find calm in creativity, and experience the joy of making something uniquely her own.
Healing Through Art is a FREE painting workshop especially created for women who are battling illness or have just been diagnosed, offering a safe and nurturing space to breathe, create, and reconnect with inner strength. Women who are not currently facing illness are warmly welcome to join as well. Their participation helps sustain the program and extend this opportunity to others in need — a workshop fee will apply.
