Healing the Mother Wound: A Somatic & Emotional ReleaseThis experience is designed to help the body feel safe enough to release stored emotional energy connected to the mother wound, patterns of hurt, unmet needs, grief, resentment, or longing that can live in the nervous system and fasci(connective tissue)
Through guided practices, we will explore:
• Nervous system regulation and grounding
• Breathwork and meditation
• Somatic awareness and gentle movement
• Journaling and inner inquiry
• EFT tapping for emotional release
• Body scanning and emotional mapping
• Vocalization, sound, and emotional expression
• Gentle Yoga with Raven Nicole from Raven Yoga Nation
Why this matters: Our earliest experiences with our mothers or mother figures often shape how we experience safety, love, belonging, and self-worth. When those experiences include pain, neglect, misunderstanding, or unmet emotional needs, the body can carry the imprint for years.
Releasing these stored emotions can restore a sense of self-trust, compassion, and inner stability. Participants may experience emotional release, physical softening, clarity, or deep relief. All responses are welcome here.
This workshop may be supportive for you if:
• You feel unresolved emotions connected to your mother or childhood
• You notice patterns in relationships rooted in early family dynamics
• You struggle with self-worth, people-pleasing, or inner criticism
• You want a body-based approach to emotional healing, not just talking
No prior experience is necessary. Come as you are. Your body knows what it is ready to release. This workshop will be led by Nicole Peltier, Matt Michaels, Chiara Spencer, and Callyn Francisco.
