HEALING THE HEALER - APAPACHO SUMMIT

To all the healers, helpers, and frontline providers across our county:

We invite you to pre-register for Apapacho Summit: Healing the Healer, a free wellness retreat-style gathering created specifically for those who spend their days holding others. This is more than an event—it's a collective pause, a moment to breathe, and a reminder that your wellbeing matters just as much as the work you do.

We are intentionally building a space where you can receive care, reconnect with your own center, and be surrounded by people who understand the weight and beauty of this calling. Our goal is to offer a day to heal, network, and build community-because our mental health and overall wellness are essential, not optional, and we can't keep showing up for everyone else if we're running on empty.

In the past, we've organized healing events for our Latinx community, and we recognize that organizations throughout the county continue to do their part to support our people with critical services and care. At the same time, we also know that the people doing the work need a space to be taken care of, too. And what better way to honor the healers than to show up for the ones who are doing the healing your presence is a powerful act of collective care.

We always preach about putting on the oxygen mask first, and this is an opportunity to practice what we teach. Especially in times like this-when our communities can feel under attack—we need spaces that restore us, remind us we're not alone, and strengthen our ability to keep going.

Please pre-register and join us in creating a day where the frontlines are held with the same love and intention they give every day.
