This unique Healing Journey of Past and Present is an invitation to make amends with your past, your present, your mistakes, your generational and personal traumas both conscious and subconscious, your decisions, or experiences that you might be beating yourself up for, those times that you were unkind to yourself or others, and…

The good news is you do not have to work hard trying to understand the roots of it all because a lot of what you are experiencing is beyond the realm of the mind. The invitation here is to allow your body’s wisdom and ancient healing knowledge to carry you, support you, guide you, and nourish you as you surrender to your own healing.

This journey combines somatic, therapeutic, Buddhist, Yogic, and Tantric modalities with authentic Andean healing offerings into accessible 8-Day retreat. The program is designed for spiritual seekers, men and women of different ages, who are being called to reconnect with healing energies of Mother Earth (Pachamama). We will guide you through intentionally crafted sequence of mindful activities, yoga practice designed to open and balance your energy points (chakras), visualization and meditation, vibrant nature connection, indigenous arts and cultural experiences, therapeutic treatments, farm-to-table meals, and powerful Andean ceremonies.

Itinerary:

Part 1: Otavalo, Ecuador

We begin our journey in a magical Otavalo where we have an opportunity to acclimate to the high altitude of Andes mountains, visit world famous artisan and crafts markets, connect with majestic nature and sacred land, and participate in Temazcal (sweat lodge) and indigenous cooking ceremony of Pachamanka.

Otavalo is a town in the Andean highlands in the Imbabura province of northern Ecuador. It’s surrounded by volcanoes including the Imbabura Volcano. It's known for its Otavalo Market in the central Plaza de Ponchos, where traditionally clad indigenous townspeople sell colorful textiles and handicrafts. The Otavalo Market is one of the most spectacular sights in South America, outstanding for both its shopping and its cultural significance.

Part 2: Cloud Forest and Mindo, Ecuador

Our second part of the journey will take place in Mindo. On July 25th, 2018, Chocó Andino de Pichincha, where Mindo is located, was declared a new Unesco Biosphere Reserve. Covering an altitudinal range of 360 to 4,480 meters, this encompasses a region considered to be one of the most biodiverse hotspots in the world. With a biosphere representing over 270 species of mammals and greater than 450 species of birds (in the Mindo region alone), the Cloud Forest boasts a diverse flora & fauna, unlike anything most have ever seen.

Here we will stay in a beautiful family-owned hacienda with natural pool and sauna where you can experience traditional therapeutic body treatments. We will explore a profound connection with Pachamama (Mother Earth) through our planned activities and ceremonies to take you deeper into your healing journey and to help release energies and memories from the body that do not serve your well-being.

Included: accommodations, 3 meals per day, gratuities in hotels, all activities and ceremonies, transportation to/from ceremonial hike, transfer from Otavalo to Mindo

Not included: airfare, airport transfers (can be arranged upon request), additional attractions and activities outside of the itinerary, ceremonial hike (optional participation), additional gratuities, trip insurance, extra pre/post nights, transportation for independent explorations outside the itinerary

7/16 Day 3- Cotacache Volcano indigenous ceremonial hike with wisdom keepers (optional) or free time, community circle

7/17 Day 4- Morning stretch and meditation, talking stick + community circle, departure to Mindo, integration time

7/18 Day 5- Yoga, Meditation, free time to explore Mindo, community circle

7/19 Day 6- Yoga, Meditation, Indigenous Ancestral Healing workshop + community circle

7/20 Day 7- Yoga, Meditation, Indigenous Cacao Ceremony + community circle

Irina is a spiritual teacher, transformational coach, and relationships counselor

Irina offers private consultations and group teachings in supporting mind and body through somatic experiences, growth mindset aproaches, aromatherapy, movement, meditation, breathing techniques, and feminine embodiment practices to sustain overall joy and vitality. Her work has evolved into unique, holistic, and individualized approach to women’s emotional and physical wellbeing across lifespan stages, including pregnancy and menopause. Mother of one, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and two Master's in Education and Family and Couple Therapy, certifications in Yoga, Taoist healing arts, and Tantric teachings. She lives and works in Manhattan, New York where she had founded her La Femme Rose spiritual women network. She organizes classes and monthly women gatherings in New York as well as women retreats around the world.
