About this Event

Since 2020, many within our communities have experienced profound loss — the passing of loved ones, broken relationships, declining health, financial uncertainty, and unseen emotional wounds. For many women, this pain has been carried quietly, while continuing to serve others and remain strong for their families.

This day has been prayerfully created as a place of rest, understanding, and hope for women who are carrying grief, separation, and hidden sorrow. It offers a sacred pause — a safe and loving space where women can be supported, listened to, and gently restored.

Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit” (Ps 34:18, KJV). This truth sits at the heart of our gathering. God sees every tear, including those never shared, and understands pain that words cannot always express.

Grief and trauma take many forms. Loss is not only the passing of a loved one, but also the loss of relationships, security, health, identity, and dreams. These experiences can quietly shape how women think, feel, and relate to others. Healing is a journey, not a moment, and God often uses loving community as part of that process.

As Scripture teaches us, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Gal 6:2, KJV). Together, we will reflect, pray, share, and encourage one another in a spirit of compassion and faith.

Led by a specialist counsellor and psychotherapist, alongside respected women of faith, this session brings together professional insight and spiritual encouragement to support emotional and spiritual healing.
