About this Event
In this hands-on and interactive workshop, Herbalist and Community Gardener Roxana Marroquin and Tobias A. Fox will lead us in building relationships with two herbs that grow in the Healing Garden. Methods for building relationships with two herbs that grow in the Healing Garden. We will engage in plant meditation, tea drinking, and medicine making with Yarrow and Lemon Balm as we begin connecting with and developing deep and reciprocal relationships with herbs as Plant Allies that can support you in your physical and emotional health and well-being.
This workshop is also supported by Tobias A. Fox, agriculturalist, organizer, and founder of Newark Science and Sustainability, Inc. He conducts various community events, presentations, and workshops on sustainable living practices and assists numerous urban farmers and gardeners with cultivating their agricultural space.
