ABOUT BREATHWORK
Breathwork is a Western term that originates from the 5,000 year-old practice of Pranayama, from the Eastern Yogic tradition. Pranayama means "the expansion of life force energy". I like to call this ancient form of active meditation a "portal to Spirit", as it has the ability to expand consciousness and create an "awakening" for one who is ready.
Breathwork has vast benefits for all four bodies - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This powerful practice has the ability to:
- Relieve stress and anxiety
- Ease physical pain
- Improve sleep and rejuvenate energy
- Improve digestion
- Alkalize the body
- Clear stuck energy and emotions
- Help to release limiting beliefs and negative thoughts
- Calm the monkey mind and increase focus
- Provide clarity and awareness
- Aid in finding solutions to life's challenges
- Help to heal trauma, addiction, and PTSD
- Provide peace and harmony
- Open the heart
Reiki energy healing will be provided by Tobey Geise as well.

If you are coming in person, please arrive a few minutes early to get your space set up, as we will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Please bring a yoga mat, a bolster/pillow for under your knees if needed, a blanket, an eye cover, a bottle of water.
There is NO COST for this event. Donations are graciously accepted and split between Universal Spirit Center and Tobey Geise.
