
About this Event
Welcome to HEAL - a self-work retreat bringing different modalities of activity that have healing properties together and weaving them together into an intentional journey in a set and setting prioritized space.
Our thesis is that taking different modalities and bringing them together enhances the effects of each modality. Akin to adding individual ingredients to make a delicious dish or harmonizing instruments together to make a song.
In this iteration of the event, we will focus on the dream state. Have you ever felt like the only real unfiltered peek into your psyche is through dreaming? There is a lot of interesting work that’s been done on how we can utilize our dreams to better understand the self. We will explore some of this work in a special workshop called Dream Tending.
To prepare the body and posture the mind for this work, we will meditate, move the body with somatic pilates, and to integrate the work, we will catch some theta wave states using yoga nidra.
During self-work, it’s important to nourish the body and mind with the right foods and drinks; there will be snacks and tea provided during the length of the event, followed by a nourishing lunch paired with NA elixirs and drinks inspired by Spring.

What to bring
Outfit: Comfortable and warm clothes that you can move in; cozy would be a conducive theme.
Props: Yoga mats, blankets, and/or bolsters(we will provide, but if you have your own you love, bring them)
Mindset: Be prepared to put a pause on your NYC life, and go inward for 4 hours.
Hydration: Water and tea bottles.
