About this Event
Join the County’s Historic Landmarks Commission’s Adventure Club and Historic Elmwood Pinewood, Inc., and contribute to restoring these valuable cultural landmarks.
Meeting Location: Enter at the cemetery's N. Church Street entrance, located midway along N. Church Street beside the Settlers Place Condominium buildings. We'll gather along the brick pathway just inside the cemetery.
Free Parking: First Presbyterian Church in Uptown has kindly agreed to provide free parking for this event in their parking lot on Poplar St., located between W. Trade & W. 5th. Settlers' Cemetery is directly behind the church. If that lot is full, there are several pay lots and decks within 1 block of the cemetery, including the Discovery Place deck (corner of N. Church & W. 6th), a lot at the corner of N. Pine & W. 6th, and several nearby office buildings (including the Carillon Building, directly across W. Trade from First Presbyterian Church ). Although free street parking is available in several locations throughout Fourth Ward, please be aware that those spots typically have a two-hour limit.
- Registration: Register Online by April 19
- The event will be held rain or shine
- All supplies provided.
