Bring History Back to Life Step into the past and make a difference at the Old City Cemetery! Volunteers are invited to help clean historic gravestones, learn the stories of Indianola’s early residents and watch “The Cemetery Guy” and his team bring broken and fallen markers back to life.
All supplies are provided, and you’ll be treated to a complimentary picnic lunch as a thank you for your help.
This free event is open to everyone, and no RSVP is required. Donations are welcome to support future cemetery restoration and preservation efforts.
Weather note: This event will be canceled in case of rain (no rain date).
Location: West side of I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 0.6 miles south of Hwy 92 on Jefferson Way
