From Oregon’s first builder-led training program in modular and mass timber construction, to innovative software that streamlines volunteer opportunities and materials donations for CTE schools and nonprofits, to new partnerships with Portland State University, Portland Community College, and K–12 classrooms, WERC is building the next generation of homebuilders. With industry support, leadership training, and real hiring pathways for graduates, this initiative is creating bold solutions to the housing crisis—one program, one partnership, and one future builder
