This year's lecture is given by Professor Jon Mee (University of York).

Professor Mee’s most recent books are Networks of Improvement: Literature Bodies and Machines in the Industrial Revolution (Chicago, 2023), and Print, Publicity, and Popular Radicalism: The Laurel of Liberty (Cambridge, 2016), in addition to three other monographs and many other publications on the literature of the Romantic period, including of course the most recent OUP World’s Classics edition of Hazlitt (with James Grande).
The title of the lecture is ‘Sticky Hazlitt’.
