Haystack Slim & The Broken Arrow are a Tacoma, Washington based band that mixes a broad base of influences into a fire and ice homebrew of classic country and rock n’ roll. They first formed in the spring of 2023 when eastern Oklahoma troubadour Haystack Slim joined with a new, high-powered backing band - comprised of Tacoma guitar picker Ryan Finley, hard-hat-wearing bassist Joe Filkins, and Tallahassee drummer Bradley Stewart - who perform with Haystack under the moniker The Broken Arrow. \n\nHaystack’s lyrics tell stories of addiction, love & heartbreak, and gutty Western heroes. The vocals weave in and out of music rich with melodic interludes and heavy progressions. The result? Songs that remind that country ain’t just about beer and backroads, and that rock & roll lives.
