Haydn monumentális oratóriuma, A teremtés nemcsak azzal nyűgöz le, hogy elénk tárja a felvilágosodás harmonikus életfilozófiáját, de azzal is, hogy megmutatja az egész világot. Nem csoda, hiszen arról szól, hogyan teremtette Isten hat nap alatt az eget, a Földet, a Napot, a Holdat, a csillagokat, a növényeket, az állatokat és az embert. Aligha kínálkozik jobb alkalom rácsodálkozni minderre – Haydn humorát és ábrázoló szellemét is élvezve –, mint a Müpa hagyományos Újévi koncertje, amelyet, mint mindig, 2026-ban is Fischer Ádám vezényel. Partnere ezúttal a Dán Kamarazenekar – amelyhez régi művészbarátság fűzi – és a bécsi Arnold Schoenberg Kórus, amelynek története összeforrt Nikolaus Harnoncourt produkcióival. A három kiváló szólista Nikola Hillebrand, Mauro Peter és Andreas Bauer Kanabas.

Haydn’s monumental oratorio, The Creation, captivates not only by laying the Enlightenment’s harmonious philosophy bare before us, but also by presenting us with a whole new world. This should come as no surpise; the piece tells the story of how God created the heavens, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, the stars, plants, animals and mankind in six days. There could hardly be a better occasion to marvel at all this – while marvelling at Haydn’s wit and vivid imagery – than the traditional New Year’s concert at Müpa Budapest, conducted, as always, by Ádám Fischer. His partners this time are the Danish Chamber Orchestra, with which he shares a long-standing artistic kinship, and the Vienna Arnold Schoenberg Choir, an ensemble whose history has become inextricably linked to Nikolaus Harnoncourt’s productions. The three outstanding soloists are Nikola Hillebrand, Mauro Peter and Andreas Bauer Kanabas.
