This event is sponsored by TCWP and TNPS. We will emphasize tree and shrub identification along the paved greenway. This walk, which will last about two hours, should work for those with limited walking ability; wheelchairs are a possibility. We will walk or roll on a relatively flat paved trail. Total out-and-back distance is around 1.5 miles. As usual, attendees can turn back when they want.We’ll meet at the end of OLD Edgemoor Rd. in Haw Ridge Park in Oak Ridge at 9 a.m. Eastern The starting point is near the former Life Development Center (299 Old Edgemoor Rd. Oak Ridge; 36.01034, -84.16753.).
Bring water, a lunch, and bug spray.
