Award-winning Scottish folksinger, Iona Fyfe on tour as part of the Irish Spring Festival of Irish Folk Music in Germany. Iona will be joined by Michael Biggins (piano) and Rory Carter (Mandolin). Iona will perform a of ballads, folksongs and self-penned repertoire in the Scots language. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Iona has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA. A fierce advocate for the official recognition of the Scots Language, Iona led a successful campaign to pressure Spotify into recognising Scots and adding it to its list of languages. Two-time winner of Scots Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, Iona presents a solo vocal and piano show.
