About this Event
Hats Off to Ronnie Barker – A Tribute to Oxford’s Finest Comedian
Ronnie Barker will be familiar to many thanks to his iconic sketches from The Two Ronnies, but did you know that he grew up and started his career in Oxford? From his childhood growing up in and around Florence Park and his debut at the Oxford Playhouse, to national fame and other curiosities, this community performance will pay homage to proudly homegrown talent.
Join us for a tribute to a local lad turned comedy legend, exploring his life and Oxford connections. Expect throwbacks to famous skits, fun facts about familiar faces and places… and more than a few laughs!
There will be two performances on Saturday 5 April at 2.30pm and 5.30pm. Each performance will last around an hour and WILL NOT include an interval.
Doors open at 2pm and 5pm for the respective performances. A paid bar will be available before the show.
Tickets are £7.50 per person and can be purchased on Eventbrite (booking fee applies) or at the Museum Shop. Booking in advance is essential.
