Hatha Yoga with Live Music

Refresh your mind and body with Hatha Yoga - you'll experience a series of classical Yoga Asanas, Pranayama (breath control), Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Meditation, led by Parashakti-Vienna. This class is suitable for all levels, come as you are whether you're a beginner or seasoned yogi.

Live musical accompaniment provided by Jesse Gallagher on the grand piano, with selections from his meditation album "The Inner Sound."

Integral Yoga Hatha is a gentle and balanced classical Yoga practice. In sanskrit, "Ha" translates to Sun and "Tha" to Moon, signifying the focus on creating balanced and harmonious energy inside and out. You can expect to feel peaceful and rejuvenated after class, leaving with more energy than you arrived with. Students are encouraged to listen to their body and go at their own pace.

Parashakti-Vienna Husson is a 200-hr Integral Yoga Instructor. She studied at Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville, in Virginia, and lived in the same Yoga community for 3 years thereafter, teaching Hatha to guests and community members. She now lives in the Cambridge area, hoping to share the classical Integral Yoga techniques that made powerful, positive impacts in her life.

Sadhu-Jesse Gallagher is an Integral Yoga teacher and life-long musician. He traveled & performed extensively as a founding member of the band Apollo Sunshine from 2001-2010, and since has released several albums under his own name (The Inner Sound 2020, Visual Music Vol. #1 & #2). He has practiced meditation & yoga since 2000. In 2016, he was certified to teach Integral Yoga Hatha at Satchidananda Ashram, and in 2024, Jesse was certified to teach Mindfulness Meditation from Dharma Moon Tibet House.
