Wearable Art
Join Helen of HKW Art for a hat making workshop where you choose embellishments and learn the art of hat pyrography. Using a wood burning tool, Helen will show you how to burn some easy designs on your hat to a create a one-of-a-kind statement piece that you will be proud to show off. “A Hat is Piece of Magic!”
Hat Burning Workshop
Grab a friend and get ready to unleash your creativity in a fun, hands-on craft session - no skills needed! Pick your hat (size medium fits 56-58cm head circumference). If you need larger (58-60cm), please let us know prior to the event. Free-hand or trace your design, burn it, add accessories, and Rock it! Cost includes hat, 2 hat band accessories, and instruction. My Story
Hi, I am Helen - the artist and owner of HKW ART. Pennsylvania born and raised. Retired federal civil servant turned creative entrepreneur. I’ve dabbled in all kinds of art mediums since childhood. My love for “doodling” went from walls and paper, to people, to hats and other accessories. I specialize in Hat/Millinery Art to include Pyrography, Henna Body Art, Copper Wire Wrapping and Weaving Art. As a lifelong artist, speaker and trainer, merging creativity and education is the heart of everything I do. Your support makes this dream possible. I'm happy you are here and part of my journey!
