About this Event
Lochlea is a small, independent single malt whisky distillery located in the beautiful lowlands of Scotland. Based on Lochlea Farm, all the barley used for production is grown on-site, with distillery operations being monitored by John Campbell. Production began in August 2018, with the first whisky coming to market early in 2022. One of Scotland’s favourite sons, the poet Robert Burns, also called Lochlea home between 1777-1784!
Your host for the evening will be Patrick Dupuy, Business Development Executive for Lochlea Distillery. Patrick was introduced to whisky early on, as his mother also worked in the industry. Patrick cut his teeth as a shop assistant, before becoming a tour guide and, eventually, a distiller himself! He joined Lochlea toward the end of 2021 and has been overseeing the UK retail market ever since.
