Originally starting as a one-time jam between high school friends, Harvested grew to become a full band, combining influences of groove metal, old-school death metal, and progressive metal to create a sound unique to only them.
Beginning as a 3 piece consisting of Charles Crichton (bass/vocals), Ethan Cullis (drums), and Nick Sandoval (guitars), they released their first single "Through the Lens" on February 12th, 2021. While rooted in groove metal, this track gave onlookers a view of where the band was headed. After adding Justin Heggemeier (Vocals) to the roster, the band began recording their first studio EP; Crown. This EP set the tone for what Harvested would become, incorporating 7-string guitars with lower tunings, and more traditional death metal vocals.
Their newest project, Ecocide, displays the most immoral, vile, and depraved corners of our world. While echoing the ambiance and terror of other OSDM acts, they have added a new level of raw aggression and technicality that has yet to be seen anywhere else.
Harvested has played various shows ranging from backyard DIY shows to festivals with iconic acts like Pyrexia and Rotteness . They have headlined venues ranging from Globe Hall to the infamous 7th Circle Music Collective. They have also shared the stage with numerous bands including acts such as Maul, Embryonic Autopsy, and Atoll .
