Learn how to prune safely and confidently using electric pruning equipment
Join us for a hands-on workshop with Katie and Hugh Finlay from Grow Great Fruit and The Orchard Keepers, where you’ll learn essential OHS principles, safe use of electric pruning tools, and the fundamentals of good pruning. You’ll then put it all into practice with guided summer pruning in the orchard, using both electric and hand tools.
The workshop will cover:
OHS basics for working safely around fruit trees
Safe use of electric pruning equipment
Pruning principles — what to cut, what to leave, and what not to do
