Our celebration of the fall equinox begins at noon with a lhasang, a traditional Tibetan ceremony in which fire and fragrant juniper smoke are said to embody a powerful energy that cleanses people and places of obstructions, obstacles, and negative forces. The lhasang is also an empowerment in that it brings down blessings in the form of wisdom, efficacy, and power. Watch or participate! The lhasang will be followed by a potluck lunch and a community meeting at which we will welcome new members. Afterwards, we will join (virtually) the Touching the Earth Collective for musical offerings, poetry and whatever folks bring to the table. Donations appreciated.
Everyone is welcome to join in this community practice.
