Like cultures all over the world, we gather to celebrate the changing of seasons. In Shambhala these are called “nyida” days from the Tibetan words nyima (sun) and dawa (moon), and they occur on, or near, the days of the equinoxes and solstices.Harvest of Peace is our autumn celebration. It's associated with a feeling of gathering together or “harvesting” our warmth, connection, community spirit and shared resources.
Please join us as we celebrate with a potluck lunch following our regular Sunday Sitting practice.
Visit the program page to register and to sign up for the potluck! https://philadelphia.shambhala.org/program-details/?id=736468
