Two full time harvest jobs available early July – End September possibly into October with candidates needing to have experience but most of all be willing to learn new tasks and be good team players. You can look forward to working in a friendly relaxed operation.
The farm is 100% arable growing cereals and OSR with a rapid turn round at harvest with long hours when required but also regular time off.
Experience preferred with PA 1, 2 &4, along with forklift certificates are desired but not mandatory.
Experience of most other operations including grain carting and the operation of large equipment preferred but training will be available to the right candidates willing to gain experience.
We operate high horse powered John Deere and Challenger tractors on tracks for ploughing, min-till, cultivations and for seed drilling. We also run an Agrifac S/propelled 36m sprayer and a Claas combine with a 30’ header.
Daily checks and servicing of all machinery is required to minimise breakdowns.
These positions are open to both Male and Female candidates and may lead to a full time position after harvest for one candidate who can show enthusiasm and willing to take some responsibility.
These positions may better be suited to candidates that are local or within daily travelling commute.
