The team at Windy City Harvest is preparing to recruit for our 2025 Harvest Corps Program. We would love to invite you to join us for a lunch to learn more about our Corps program and how to refer qualifying candidates to the position!
Corps is a 14 week transitional jobs program for justice-involved adults and veterans. Each year, we hire up to 30-35 crew members. Crew members will work on our urban farms 4 days per week, getting trained in technical skills related to farming and food handling. Once a week, crew members participate in job development classes, including resume writing, interview skills, and assistance with job applications.
We will begin hosting information sessions for applicants in February. We’d love to have you join us on Janary 23rd, from 9am-12pm to learn more about making referrals to the program. This event will include an information session, tours of Farm on Ogden, and lunch.
