The historic Newtown Theatre will Welcome “Harvest & Rust” to its stage on Saturday, April 25. The band will play two distinct shows – “Neil Young: Unplugged & Acoustic” at 3:00 p.m. and the band’s regular show, “Neil Young: Plugged In & Electric,” at 8:00 p.m.The Unplugged concert will be an intimate afternoon performance that strips the music down to its roots, spotlighting acoustic guitars, harmonica and the songwriting at the heart of Young’s catalog. Expect a relaxed, reflective set that captures the quiet power and emotional depth of his unplugged work.
The evening show turns the volume up with a full band delivering the raw, electric side of Young’s music. This high-energy performance celebrates the grit, feedback and driving rhythms that define his amplified sound.
Each concert will feature a slightly different lineup of songs, but rest assured all the hits will be included.
