MHEA students (grades 6-12 only) Accio, yoga mat! Come learn some fun Harry Potter themed poses! Ms. Laurie has been teaching yoga for almost six years. She has a 200-hour training certification, plus additional certifications in trauma-informed and accessible yoga, and she has almost finished with another 300-hour teaching/yoga therapy certification. She teaches twice a week at The University of Memphis, substitutes regularly at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens and St. Jude Hospital, and during the summer, she teaches children who are staying at Room in the Inn, a shelter for families experiencing homelessness.
Cost is $10.50 per student; limit of 30 students. Please bring a mat or towel and a water bottle.
