Harry Potter Castle (Hogwarts) and Bamburgh Day Trip

  • Join us for a magical day at the iconic Harry Potter Castle, also known as Hogwarts! You'll have plenty of time to explore and enjoy a spellbinding tour inside the castle, filled with exciting Harry Potter-themed activities, including: a Flying Lesson with Wizardry Professors (on the very spot where Harry had his first lesson!), Harry Potter Ground Tour, trying on Medieval Costumes, taking photos with Harry Potter and Hagrid lookalikes, Medieval Alchemist Show, Crafts with the Company of Artisans and much more magical fun! Inside the castle, you’ll visit the sumptuous State Rooms, lots of museums, stroll through the lovely gardens and the Harry Potter Castle's Treehouse (known as one of the largest in Europe), and explore the Harry Potter Gift Shop. This enchanting tour also includes a stop at Bamburgh, offering stunning views of the North Sea, Bamburgh Beach, and imposing and impressive Bamburgh Castle, with a brief visit to Dunbar. As a Harry Potter fan, this magical adventure just can't be missed!

Places we explore:

  • Harry Potter Castle: Visit Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and enjoy a flying lesson with a broomstick at the exact location where Harry had his first flying lesson and Quidditch practice. Join the Harry Potter Ground Tour, experience magical Harry Potter Shows, and have fun spotting film locations from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. All the activities in the castle are weather dependent. (Entry to the castle is exculded and it will be at discounted price of £18 - please check your pdf e-ticket).
  • Alnwick Tree House: Visit one of the largest tree houses in Europe at Harry Potter Castle
  • Alnwick: Take a stroll in ancient Alnwick and enjoy the view at Lion Bridge and Aln River
  • Bamburgh Beach and Bamburgh Castle: Admire an impressive and historic castle and one of the best and most extensive beaches in England featured in Transformers II
  • Dunbar and Ruins of Dunbar Castle: Visit the cute town of Dunbar and the ruins of Dunbar Castle once invaded by Oliver Cromwell.

About the Tour

Spend a day in the magic of Harry Potter Castle, famously known as Hogwarts. You'll have plenty of time to explore the castle and enjoy an enchanting tour filled with exciting Harry Potter-themed activities, including a Flying Lesson by Wizardry Professors (at exact same place as Harry did his first flying lesson), trying on Medieval Costumes, Harry Potter Ground Tour, taking photos with Harry Potter and Hagrid's lookalikes, Medieval Alchemist Show, Crafts with the Company of Artisans Show and much more fun activities. Inside the Castle we will also visit the sumptuous State Rooms, the lovley gardens and Treehouse as well as the Harry Potter's Gift Shop! This tour also includes a short stop at Bamburgh with views overlooking the North Sea, Bamburgh Beach Bamburgh Castle and a short stop in Dunbar. As a true Harry Potter fan, this magical adventure just can't be missed!

Lunch / Things to bring with you

There will be time for a lunch break in restaurants, however, you can also bring your own packed lunch. Bring with you lots of smiles, warm clothes, a camera, a Gryffindor Scarf, proper walking shoes, an ID, a bottle of water and snacks. We will also have tea/coffee and toilet breaks throughout the journey.

  • Tickets are very limited and available based on first come, first served.
  • Tickets are non-refundable if you miss the tour for any reason.
  • If you can no longer attend, you may sell your ticket to others, however, you must notify in advance for check in purposes.

  • Our tours are open to everyone aged 18 and over, including adult students, professionals, visitors, and tourists. If you wish to book tickets for minors, you must contact us in advance.
