The Main Event: Harry Paye Day 2026
Date: Saturday, 20th June 2026
Time: Festivities kick off at 12:00 PM (Noon) and run until 6:00 PM
Location: Poole Quay, Dorset (Completely closed to traffic for safe family fun!)
Admission: FREE! (Charity donations are warmly welcomed)
In the 1400s, Poole's favorite privateer, Harry Paye, intercepted hundreds of French and Spanish ships to avenge an attack on his hometown. He returned with a legendary haul of gold, exotic fruits, and 30,000 gallons of red wine for the townsfolk.
