Join us for a one-day barbershop a cappella event in Austin with Queen of Harmony Caroline Durrett – award winning lead singer of 2023 Sweet Adelines International Champion Quartet: The Ladies! This a cappella workshop is open to girls ages 25 and under, at any experience level.This chorus will spend the day together learning and singing For Good (Wicked) and Something To Talk About (Bonnie Raitt) in exciting 4-part barbershop a cappella harmony. Music and learning media are available so that you can prepare for this exciting opportunity! You DO NOT need to have music memorized for this event.

Our youth event is graciously hosted by Great Gulf Coast Region 10 Sweet Adelines, a non-profit organization that provides barbershop harmony music education and performance opportunities to women of all ages in our community. The evening show will include our youth chorus workshop performance, as well as live performances from Region 10 quartets who are attending the Great Gulf Coast Region 10 Sweet Adelines “Winter Workshop” education seminar taking place at the same time in the adjacent hotel ballrooms.
Singers wishing to participate should sign up by Friday, January 9th, 2026 so that our team can properly prepare for the event!
