Why it is called the Harmony Festival
It is called the Harmony Festival because April is a unique month in which almost all states across India celebrate their New Year. Each region welcomes the New Year with its own traditions, customs, and cultural expressions. To honour this beautiful diversity and bring everyone together, we decided to celebrate all regional New Year festivals collectively and harmoniously.
The Harmony Festival symbolizes unity in diversity, mutual respect, and cultural togetherness. By celebrating different regional New Years on a single platform, the festival promotes understanding, inclusiveness, and a sense of shared joy among people from all communities. Hence, the name Harmony Festival reflects the spirit of unity, cultural harmony, and collective celebration.
