Connection. Communication. Clarity. This two-day Harmonized Horsemanship clinic in Montrose, CO is for horse people who want to deepen their understanding of the horse–human relationship through presence, energetic awareness, and ethical, horse-centered training.
This experience blends philosophy, observation, and direct participation. Horses and humans are met exactly where they are, without pressure, expectation, or performance.
Day 1: Philosophy, Demonstration, and Energetic Communication
Auditing Day
Day 1 is a full day of demonstrations, discussion, and experiential learning. Participants will receive a deep dive into the Harmonized Horsemanship method and the core principles that guide this work.
Jess will work with a variety of horses throughout the day, offering a close-up look at the training process in real time. Attendees will observe how decisions are made moment by moment, how energetic communication unfolds, and how the horse’s emotional and nervous system state directs the session.
Throughout the day, there will be group instruction and guided activities designed to help participants reconnect with their own bodies. These practices support humans in becoming more regulated, aware, and available partners for their horses.
A thorough Q and A session will be held on Day 1, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions about their own horses, their horsemanship journey, or broader horse-related topics. All answers will be grounded in the Harmonized Horsemanship philosophy and program.
Day 1 is limited to 15 auditors at $100 per ticket.
Day 2: Participant Day
Groundwork Focused, Horse and Human Centered
Day 2 is a participation day for six horse and human pairs. Each participant will receive a private one-on-one session, allowing them to be met exactly where they are without pressure to perform or progress to any specific level.
Sessions are groundwork-based, with the option to focus on riding preparation steps if desired. The emphasis remains on communication, emotional regulation, and clarity rather than outcomes.
Participation in Day 1 is required in order to attend Day 2.
Day 2 tickets are $300 per horse and human pair and include a full day of auditing, an additional Q and A session, and the private one-on-one session.
Auditors from Day 1 may audit Day 2 for an additional $50.
Pre-Registration for auditors and participants is required. Contact Gina @ [email protected] or 303-517-3428 to register.
