About this Event
The Salsa Walking Tour will be the second of our series, in Spanish Harlem, its political, social, musical, culture and migration timeline of the more than 900 thousand Puerto Rican arriving from the 1950 to the 90s. We will visit this ever changing communities and walk among some of the iconic locations connected to the salsa evolution and history and resilience, from block parties to mainstream. This walking tour will be guided with the writer and Historian Profesor Raul Moris. It’s a 2 to 3 hour walk along the streets of El Barrio with more than 23 stops including museum and food options. Be prepare to walk and ask all the questions.
