We start the walk at 5pm by heading down the road and crossing the railway, then back across the Railway by bridge and across a few cattle fields, before we go through Oxlynch village and Standish Park Estate where we may find more farmyard animals.
We then start heading uphill and through Standish Woods and catch the views firstly from the Topogragh before heading to Haresfield Beacon for the Sunset at 8:38pm.
At either the Topograph or Haresfield Beacon, we will stop for our food for about 30mins.
After sunset we head down a steep hill and steep road back into the Village of Haresfield, please remember torches, especially for the road downhill.
I expect to be back at the cars for about 9:30pm, we can then walk down to the Pub at the end of the road for an after walk drink, if anyone is keen.
This walk has the potential of cattle during the walk. So, again not suitable for dogs.
