A gorgeous Cotswolds Countryside circular 6.7mile walk to catch a sunset from the top of Haresfield Beacon.Please eat your evening meal before the walk and bring your cake for the sunset stop.
We meet on the road next to Haresfield Cricket Pitch

We start the walk at 6:50pm by heading down the road and crossing the railway, then back across the Railway by bridge and across a few cattle fields, before we go through Oxlynch village and Standish Park Estate where we may find more farmyard animals.
We then start heading uphill and through Standish Woods and catch the views from the Haresfield Topogragh, here we can stop for our cakes to take in the Sunset at 9:32pm
After sunset we head across to Haresfield Beacon, which we hopefully will have clear skies for stargazing. We finish the walk heading down a steep hill and steep road back into the Village of Haresfield, please remember torches, especially for the road downhill.
I expect to be back at the cars for about 10:45pm.
This walk has the potential of cattle during the walk. So, again not suitable for dogs.
