DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY
docklands light railway is a duo comprised of Wil Pritchard and Rosanna Martin, usually featuring vocals, strings and surprises.
KAT PEDDIE
Kat Peddie is a writer, performer and text-based composer working in poetry, experimental theatre and semi-improvised music. She works with the adventurous performance charity Free Range, organising events and playing in Free Range Orchestra. The Orchestra gig regularly around Kent and have released a number of CDs, most recently with Evan Parker and with Maggie Nicols.
Kat is a founding member of the improvisers group Free Women. Free Women's latest two shows have been 'Lady, Garden', and 'A Women's History of Happenings'. She is also a founding and the most prominent member Kate's Bush, a loose troupe of travelling players in the traditions of mumming, Peter Quince's Rude Mechanicals and Poet's Theatre. As a solo artist she has recently composed an immersive sound experience for Queercall festival, Folkestone, the recitative for Lauren Redhead's digital opera 'the octopus' (from the netlabel pan y rosas discos), a pamphlet of Sappho translations and variations with Oystercatcher Press, and is currently near completion of an ekphrasitic collection 'The Lives of the Artists', poems from which have been published in Golden Handcuffs Review. She is also a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Kent, where she co-ordinates Creative Writing and composes numerous emails.
JOHN BISSET & ROBIN BALE
Bale & Bisset integrate parmesan with gruyere, thanks to Ed Shipsey for the Salsa sauce. As the review said, 'Never have I seen, heard and tasted such dichotimous culinations as this duo offer up. Alternating roles of Waiter and Chef, the pair offer minced words (often with a narrative thread and sauce) and sauteed strings (often harmonic surprise). Never SOUP! seems to be their motto' Rabart Delgouz, www.time out of times.org.uk
