Developmental psychologist will provide parents and caregivers with practical strategies to help children develop a positive and healthy body image.
Our conversation will cover essential topics such as the impact of developmental transitions -- particularly puberty -- on body image, media and social influences on self-esteem, and promoting healthy habits without emphasizing appearance.
She will offer guidance on how to talk with children and teens in ways that encourage both acceptance and confidence, and take your live questions during Q&A.
Dr. Andrea Archibald is a developmental psychologist and former national psychologist at Girl Scouts of the USA, where she led the and national Family and School Engagement Strategies. She received her doctoral and postdoctoral training at Columbia University.
