Join Happiness Habits 613 as we walk a little AND talk a little about February’s book selection: IKIGAI: The Japanese Secret To A Long And Happy Life. Yes, this IS the happiest book club ever!.

The family-friendly Monday evening community walk in Old Ottawa South will have stops along the way to connect & read excerpts of the book. The route is 2k and is accessible to wheelchairs. We will have visibility lights to share for all participants.
This event will be facilitated by HH613’s co-leads and local happiness experts @bytownboy & @tammynutrition .
The walk will begin and end at OPL Sunnyside (1049 Bank Street).
We are again pleased to partner with the @opl_bpo to showscase books in their collection. It is available at the Ottawa Public Library in hard copy or e-book.

Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life is a book by Héctor García and Francesc Miralles that explores the Japanese concept of ikigai. Ikigai roughly translates to “reason for being”. The book aims to show how finding and pursuing one’s ikigai can lead to a more fulfilling life.
Happiness Habits 613 😀: We are a grassroots group in Ottawa-Gatineau created in 2015 that cultivates healthy habits in the community through the 9 Pillars of Happiness. Join us throughout February 2025 for free in-person indoor and outdoor events.
