Hapori is Pride Wairau's Community & Whānau Day a relaxed, vibrant afternoon where rainbow communities, allies, whānau and friends come together to connect, celebrate and belong.
Inside you'll find 40+ stalls from local organisations, creatives and community groups. Wander, discover and meet the incredible people making Marlborough a more inclusive place for everyone.
On the day:
Live performances and special guests hosted by Hugo Grrrl, Aotearoa's trailblazing drag king
Headline set from Emerson one of Aotearoa's most exciting rising pop artists, known for her powerful vocals and heartfelt songwriting
Workshops with the amazing Ron Te Waka, supported by art therapist Emma Toy
Kai from the Marlborough Events Centre
This isn't a browse-and-leave kind of day it's a gathering. Come for the stalls, stay for the music, the kai, the kōrero and the community.
Join us as a stallholder or Rangatahi volunteer - or if you have an idea please reach out!!
We're looking for vendors in art, fashion, crafts, wellbeing and community services. Please note the venue doesn't permit food vendors.
Community stalls: Free
All other stalls: $50 contribution toward venue costs
Stallholder details:
Set-up from 8:00am, fully set by 10:45am
Bring your own tables, display walls and power cables
Park out front to unload; please arrive on time
Each space is 3m × 3m
