Hit the trail with the Tucson J as we celebrate the season of light with movement and community at the 9th annual Hanukkah Hot Cocoa Run!This year's race will feature timed 5k and 1 mile races and a free untimed 1k fun run. Each race will begin and end at the Tucson J in the Jill Rosenzweig Memorial Sculpture Garden with an out and back course on the Rillito River Path.
The top finishers will receive a race mug or tumbler, depending on placement, and all participants can enjoy hot chocolate and sufganiyot (jelly donuts traditional for Hanukkah) at the end of their run. Race shirts are included in the registration for the 5k and 1-mile races, and shirts for the 1k fun run can be purchased. Plus, random participants will win raffle prizes throughout the morning.
Enrollment is open now with early-bird pricing at $25 for the 5k and $15 for the 1 mile races; prices will increase on September 30. Pre-race pick up will be held at the Tucson J on Friday, December 5, from 1-5:30pm.
