Next Community Kirtan event scheduled!Date: April 3rd, 7-9pm
Location: 200 Central Dr, Cranberry Township, PA, 16066
Come gather for an evening of Kirtan and discussions!
What is Kirtan?
- Heart-centered gathering to sing devotional chants
- Typically a call-and-response format
- Uses the power of music and mantra to quite the mind, open the heart, and create a sense of unity.
What to expect:
- Community Kirtan (Please let me know if you're interest in leading)
- Hanuman Chalisa
- Spiritual book exchange
- Stick around after the event to meet and chat with like minded people
To bring: (None are required, but if you feel called to)
- An instrument to play along
- Any spiritual books you wouldn't mind rehoming to others (please keep in alignment with the teachings of Ram Dass, Maharaji and related spiritual traditions)
- A mug for tea and/or tea bags to share (hot water provided)
Cost:
- Event is donation based, yet no one will be turned away.
- All donations will be used to support a non-profit based in Uganda focusing on the community, environment and poverty alleviation in the area.

Guidelines:
- The quieter we become, the more we can hear!
- Being welcoming and inclusive.
- Keeping close to the teachings of Ram Dass and Maharaji.
- Refraining from self-promotion and advertising.
- Remembering this is not therapy, grievance board or advocacy group.
- This is a space of love, acceptance and the search for something higher. Any disrespect or others, or disrespect of other paths is not welcome.
- Devotional chanting can be a vulnerable space, so we keep things low-tech. Please no audio or video recording. Still photos may be taken by the hosts. If you’d rather not be included in photos, just let Josh know.
